As the most reputable white-glove moving company in the state, we can effortlessly take care of your entire move for you. All you have to do is contact us.
There are many full-service moving companies out there, however, there aren’t many who are in it for the long haul like us.

When it comes to full-service moving, we make things simple by only having one charge that includes everything. (Truck, gas, mileage, basic insurance, disposal of packing supplies, disassembly/reassembly/protection of furniture, and even labor are ALL included)
You have done your research, you have decided you want Movers On Duty to handle all your full-service moving needs. What’s next?
Are you saving money by packing yourself?
Creating an inventory list for all the items that will be moved is probably the first and foremost task that rests in your hands. When you move with us, you can add your inventory to your account page directly. You can also just add pictures. This makes things a lot easier!
Or we can do it for you, just let us know. We are here to help!
Once all your belongings reach their new destination, you can ensure that you have all your items as per the inventory list.
As we help you pack the boxes, we’ll count them to see exactly how many boxes enter the truck so you can update your inventory if you desire.
Are there any items that you would like to personally pack?
There are a few things you will probably need to handle personally. These include items such as a change of clothes, toiletries, chargers for your electronic devices, etc.
Place all essential items in a designated box or bag to ensure you have easy access to these items when you need them. Additionally, important documentation, wallets, house keys, expensive jewelry, and other highly valuable items should ideally not be packed by your movers.
You should pack these items personally and let your movers know that they are not to pack or move those items. (Most people have these items already in their vehicles before the movers even show up).
Full-service moving companies will NOT move everything
There are some items that not even full-service movers will transport, such as anything that is flammable, combustible, corrosive, or hazardous. Some examples of these items include:
- Firearms
- Paint
- Open bottles of booze
- Batteries
- Aerosol cans
- Cleaning fluids
- Nail polish and nail polish remover
- Gasoline
- Gas tanks
- Kerosene
- Propane tanks
- Fireworks
- Fertilizer

To protect yourself and your possessions, you should consider purchasing additional moving insurance.
Moving companies are NOT insurance companies. You should always get additional insurance coverage from a third party, an actual insurance moving company.
The standard liability coverage offered by most movers at no charge is very basic, and it covers your belongings with a mere 60 cents per pound per article.
Our well-prepared movers will protect your furniture to minimize any potential damage that could happen during the move. This means properly protecting items and even the door and the paths that the movers will take when moving items to prevent scratches, nicks, and dings. And although most movers should bring materials to protect your belongings and doors from damage while they are working, you should inquire about these practices prior to moving day if not hiring a professional moving company.
There are many ways to save money when hiring full-service movers.
Moving can be costly and saving where you can is always beneficial, right? Decluttering has more than just one benefit.
Before the packing of all your belongings, we highly recommend that you downsize (by getting rid of what you no longer need). You can sell or donate unwanted items before packing day. By doing so, you will see your moving costs decrease automatically and that is certainly something to smile about.
Not to mention, that you will be relocating to your new home with a lot less unnecessary items. And in case you are wondering, yes we do also offer junk removal services.
