Q: How is long-distance pricing calculated?
We base pricing on what you are actually moving, distance traveled, and services requested (packing, storage, unpacking, etc.). You’ll receive a guaranteed quote before we begin.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (spring/summer). However, we accommodate urgent moves when possible.
Q: Will it be only my things in the truck, or do I have to share space with someone else?
Movers On Duty offers dedicated shipment or direct service, which means that only your items will enter the truck. Unless you need them to stay in our storage for a few days or weeks, they will be delivered immediately.
Q: Are your movers licensed for interstate moves?
Absolutely. We are fully licensed and insured for local and interstate moves.
Q: Do long-distance moving quotes change depending on the date?
Yes, they do. Weekends are usually more expensive. The same is true for the end of the month and holidays.
Q: Do you offer long-distance moving insurance?

Q: How does your payment work? Pay in full or half and a half?
