Payment Methods – Movers On Duty
Acceptable forms of payment:
- NEW: We accept payments via CashApp or Zelle to (240) 351-2003 Luis M
- We accept cash.
- Corporate or company checks can be accepted as long as they match the name on the reservation.
- Debit and credit cards are also accepted but we do charge a 5% processing fee.
We do not accept personal checks!
How do you pay? – How do Movers On Duty accept payments and when?
At Movers On Duty, the payment schedule depends on the type of service you hire us for. Here’s a clear breakdown:
Local Moves & Junk Removal Projects: Payment is collected about 30 minutes before completion.
Long-Distance Moves: We collect 50% after pickup and the remaining 50% upon delivery. (Collected 30 minutes before completion)
Labor-Only Jobs: Payment is due once the work is complete.
Packing or Unpacking Services: Payment is collected after the job is finished.
Evictions: We collect 50% the day before and the remaining 50% on the day of the eviction 15 minutes before it is complete.
(Please note: We do not invoice for eviction services anymore—not even for property managers.)
